While I could write a book about the intricacies and challenges of this project–above all I am grateful to our incredible crew from Ohio, led by Lucas Wright–and the long days they put in away from their families to complete this project–especially after a four-month late start as we struggled through the bureaucracy of permitting in Queen Anne’s County. Our clients–Vivamee–are a wonderful group of people and have provided us with good support with a superintendent who gets us what we need when we need it so we can work full-on and never be idle.
From the top of the building, we can see a great view of the bay to the south as well as the Bay Bridge–and we are located on the famous 200 acre Kent Manor property–a well known historic Inn which is also being totally refurbished in tandem with the new Geobarn venue. We have multiple other projects going in New England and the mid-Atlantic and I keep thinking this has to let up…but it has not. We thank God for the wonderful support we receive from our partners, our clients, and our wonderful contractors–who intrinsically make us who we are.
