Moreover–beyond inimitable cachet–it comes with the attendant benefits of using already fallen timber, an otherwise wasted product, and something that will far outlast any normal siding. This was our first project with Harvest Timber–it will certainly not be our last.
As lovely and magnificent as the structures are–it is the generous hearts of these clients and these life-celebrating events that occur here that make this a sacred place–for which we give God humble thanks.
About Geobarns
The Geobarns proprietary system of modified timber framing combines innovative building techniques and traditional construction methods to provide beautiful structures that can be tailored to the diverse needs of clients, from homes to wineries and art studios to multiple use garages and barns.
Our buildings are characterized by unique elements such as free span girder trusses, versatile open floor plans, diagonal framing, vaulted ceilings, and cupolas that fill interior spaces with natural light….along with our modified post and beam frames.
As a design-build company, Geobarns provides development, design, and construction services from residential construction to commercial event venues. We listen to our clients to develop a passionately shared vision to create and combine what they long for and what we build. This vision is brought to life in real-time by our well-trained teams of construction crews, as well as a wide network of tradesmen and subcontractors who have worked with us for years.
Development & Design
We also strive to remain flexible to ideas for improvement that may arise from either Geobarn or the clients and to implement those as gracefully and feasibly as possible, within acceptable cost parameters. We all want the freedom to improve!
Construction
The Geobarns team of project managers work with our uniquely trained and trusted teams of subcontractors (all of whom have become “Geobarn family” friends) to execute the plans and designs that we have collectively developed with you as our clients. From staging equipment, materials, and personnel on site, the construction process is constantly reviewed against everything we established in the design phase…. and when desired and appropriate—changed for the better.
This process requires hands-on project management, logistical planning, and coordination to ensure high quality, caring service, attention to detail, and consistent, ongoing communication with our clients.
Our goal—as stated in numerous testimonials on the website over hundreds of projects—is that our clients will not only have a beautiful, well-built building—but moreover a time they reflect on as one of the best decisions and times in their lives. This—above all else—is what drives us and why we do what we do the way we do.
